Triple Offset Double Flanged Butterfly Valve

Catalog

Triple offset double flanged butterfly valve represents high-end industrial valves and serves as ZZJG's flagship butterfly valve product. Specifically engineered for high-temperature, high-pressure, and highly corrosive environments, its metal hard seal achieves zero leakage with exceptional temperature and pressure resistance, ensuring extended service life. Indispensable in critical sectors like power generation, petrochemicals, and metallurgy, it stands as the benchmark for controlling high-temperature, high-pressure fluids.

Its core lies in the triple-eccentric structure combined with double-flanged connections. Building upon the double-eccentric design, the triple-eccentric configuration introduces angular eccentricity between the sealing surface and the butterfly disc plane, creating a wedge-shaped seal. The butterfly disc never contacts the sealing surface throughout its entire opening and closing range. When fully closed, the seal tightens progressively, achieving zero leakage through metal-to-metal hard sealing, compliant with API 609 standards. The double-flange design, secured with bolts, ensures stable connections and high installation precision, making it suitable for high-vibration environments such as power plant boiler steam pipelines and refining/petrochemical units.

Exceptionally versatile for diverse operating conditions. Temperature resistance spans -196°C to 600°C, with maximum pressure rating PN40MPa. Capable of handling ultra-low temperature LNG, high-temperature steam, acidic/alkaline solutions, and petroleum/natural gas. Valve body materials include WCB carbon steel, 304/316 stainless steel, duplex steel, and Hastelloy. Sealing surfaces are overlaid with cobalt-based hard alloy for superior wear and erosion resistance. Manufactured to national standards, it is compatible with all types of industrial pipelines.

Application scenarios span multiple critical industries, with particularly outstanding performance in seawater desalination. In the power sector, they are used in boiler steam pipelines and flue gas desulfurization/denitrification systems of power plants; in petrochemicals, for crude oil pipelines and refinery reactor inlet/outlet connections; in metallurgy, for blast furnace gas pipelines and cooling circulation systems; and in municipal engineering, for high-temperature hot water pipelines in urban district heating systems. Bidirectional sealing eliminates concerns about flow direction, enabling flexible installation.

Professional selection and maintenance are essential, making it ideal for long-term partnership clients. First, identify the medium characteristics, temperature, and pressure before selecting materials and seals. For corrosive media containing SO₂, use acid-resistant coatings or Hastelloy alloys. For cryogenic conditions, choose austenitic stainless steel and specialized seals. During operation, regularly inspect stem lubrication and seal face wear. Seal performance can be restored through adjustment mechanisms. Professional operation is crucial to maximize its advantages and ensure safe system operation.
